So whatever version you know, it is probably about a girl who had a hard childhood and also youth, living in unfortunate circumstances, oppressed by her stepmother. By the way, let`s remember how this story begins…Once upon a time, there was a widower who married an arrogant and overconfident woman as his second wife. She had two daughters, who were very arrogant too. By his first wife, he'd had a beautiful young daughter, a girl of incomparable kindness and lovable character. The Stepmother and her daughters enforced the sweet girl to work in the kitchen and do all the dirty stuff in the house. She had to work day and night. After the girl's everyday jobs were done, she would withdraw to the cold room given to her. She would frequently arise covered in cinders, so that`s why she was given the nickname 'Cinderella'. One day, the Prince invites all the young ladies from the neighboring houses to a ball, and he was planning to choose a wife for him. The two Stepsisters gleefully planned their wardrobes for the ball, and mocked Cinderella by telling her that maids were not invited to the ball. But you know how the story goes…
